Fort Lauderdale’s bike trails are suitable for bikers of varying proficiency levels, equally offering ample views of the coastal and inland scenery.

Spanning two miles and a half, the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk features a secure route for bikers void of traffic and urban distractions. The Anne Kolb Nature Centre guarantees free parking for bikers on weekdays. Bikers without bikes can rent either from the Hollywood Beach Bike Shack or the Sun and Fun Cycles.

Bikers may also chart their course from Ponte Vedra Beach to Saint Augustine, adjacent to the A1A Coastal Highway. On the backdrop of this trail are the Atlantic Ocean, water stations, and multiple paid parking locations. Biking along this route during the day allays all safety concerns.

Away from the ocean and on the city’s fringes, the New River Greenway is an inland option suited for beginner riders, spanning nearly five and a half miles.
