An entrepreneur for over 40 years, Judson (J) Mark Grosvenor has many interests and hobbies outside of his role as CEO at Grosvenor Industries. In addition to being someone who enjoys outdoor activities, J. Mark Grosvenor also enjoys organic gardening.

More than just a trendy way to grow plants, organic gardening is important to the entire garden ecosystem. Organic gardening seeks to imitate nature in the process of growing flowers or produce without the use of man-made (synthetic) pesticides. Further, organic gardening views the garden as a complex system where the soil, the plants, and the insects play an important role and purpose in supporting the entire ecosystem.

Organic gardening is important to creating a sustainable natural environment. First and foremost, without the use of synthetic pesticides, soil biodiversity is supported. Furthermore, by relying on natural methods to grow produce and plants, organic gardeners reduce pollution due to pesticide and fertilizer runoff. It also supports a healthy habitat for garden creatures.
